R-PLAY 1

On 14^th July 2008 UTP Robocon team had organized an internal competition which is R-Play 1.This internal competition is in conjunction with RoboTraining 2008, a training program for UTP ROBOCON newcomers. The training program has started since 21^st June 2008 and ends on 14^th July 2008 with R-Play 1. R-Play 1 will display the results of the training program and will be a good kick-start for the newcomers to improve more in ROBOCON 2009 which will be held in March 2009.

There are 8 groups in this competition. In the final round, group 3 and group 6 were competing to be the overall champion of R-Play 1. Each group has shown their own creativity, skills and lots of effort in building their robot.

Even though they are newcomers they still can give their best. As usual, in a competition there must be a winner and a loser. Congratulations to Group 3 who are the winner and overall champion of R-Play 1. For other groups keep trying for the next R-Play. Take this as a challenge for your group to build a better robot than before.
